Yes, crew changes can be coordinated in connection with Suez Canal transits where operationally possible and subject to applicable Egyptian requirements and approvals. Provide WUSA with the vessel details, ETA and joining/departing crew information and we'll assess the proposed movement.
What information does WUSA need to arrange a crew change?
We typically require the vessel details and schedule together with the joining and/or departing crew members' passport, seaman's book, nationality, flight details and other documentation relevant to the proposed movement. Our team will confirm the specific requirements for each crew member and operation.
Can WUSA arrange airport transfers and accommodation?
Yes - we coordinate airport meet-and-assist, transportation between the airport, hotel and vessel, and hotel accommodation where required. The arrangements are planned around both the crew members' flights and the vessel's operational schedule.
What happens if the vessel's ETA or the crew member's flight changes?
WUSA monitors the operation and adjusts the local arrangements where possible. Depending on the change, this may involve rescheduling transportation, adjusting accommodation or revising the proposed embarkation or disembarkation timing.
